On Wednesday July 22 ou could be the witness to the longest total solar eclipse in over a century. The total solar eclipse will be visible within a narrow corridor that traverses half of the earth. The path of the Moon's umbral shadow begins in India and crosses through Nepal, Bangladesh and China.
In Suzhou you can see this most magnificent event starting at 8:22 AM. The start of the Full Eclipse is 9:36 AM. The End of the Full Eclipse will be 9:42 AM. The finish of this eclipse will be 11:01 AM.
It is definitely a one in lifetime chance for Suzhou residents to watch this huge solar eclipse. Because the last total solar eclipse was 1575 on May 10th during the Ming Dynasty. The next total solar eclipse in Suzhou will be occur in around 300 years.
