Suzhounese can enjoy the local grapes every summer. But have you ever thought about drinking a glass of Suzhou wine? It will be realized in September this year. The grape field in Bacheng, Kunshan city, has a large area, in which the peasants are busy with planting vines. The grape vines are sprouting now and several months later, the grapes will be ready for brewing the wine. The staff told us, the vine seedlings from Shanghai and Zhejiang are special for wine brewing. The reason of brewing Suzhou local wine is that in autumn people can drink a glass of local wine while they enjoy the famous Yangchenghu crabs. In order to brew fine wine, Bacheng town has contacted expert from Tianjin and has cost 1 million yuan on vintage equipments. That will hopefully be the first brand of Suzhou wine.
