By May 2008, Suzhou Industrial Park located on the east of the Old City in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, will welcome it's newest five-star hotel, Kempinski Hotel Suzhou.

Managed by Kempinski, the hotel is located within a large estate which encompasses the 27-hole Jinji Lake International Golf Course, Jinji Lake Grand Hotel, a State Guest House of five villas and Dushu Lake.

Kempinski Hotel Suzhou plans to have 458 guest rooms and suites, meeting facilities and a large ballroom that can seat 1,500 people.
The Kempinski Hotel Suzhou will feature extensive dining options which will include Wang Hu Ge Chinese restaurant, Seasons Café, and a Japanese specialty restaurant. In addition to this there will be a wine and cigar bar, lounge, and our famous Paulaner Bräuhaus. Conference facilities will include a grand ballroom of over 2,000 m2 space, seven meeting rooms, a VIP meeting room, and a state-of-the-art business centre. The hotel's 6,000 sqm Health & Recreation centre will cater to all guest's wishes with their full range of fitness equipment, 50-meter indoor pool, squash and tennis courts, extensive spa services and sauna and jacuzzi. Hirsch Bedner Associates has been commissioned for the interior design of the hotel.

The hotel is owned by Jinji Lake Grand Hotel Co., Ltd. who has invested a total of RMB1.2 billion into making this project one of Suzhou's leading business resort hotels.
