Mechanical Engineer (Sourcing/ PPC)
Directly Reporting to：Production Manager
Job Description：
1.Source Material Suppliers and Subcontractors that can meet Jiangyin Yangtze (Syntec Diamond) delivery requirement, cost and quality;
2.Prepares Monthly/ Annual Reports (or as per request of direct supervisor) on Supplier/ Subcon Performance as per the following categories: Delivery Adherence, Price based on Market Price, Quality and others. At a given period of time, all suppliers/ subcons for each item should be evaluated based on this category to see which of them have meet Jiangyin Yangtze (Syntec Diamond) Standards.
3.Prepares Material Requisition Plan using either an excel file or MRP Software;
4.Analyze material usage based on the plan made and actual usage. Each other should be studied to see whether the level of scrap is within tolerance or the plan is adequately/ correctly estimated. If in case the result will be beyond tolerance, he/ she will recommend/ coordinate with the Production Manager and General Manager on how to resolve the problems.
5.Ensures scrap level is at minimum;
6.Can use computer software like AutoCAD, Pro-E and MRP is desirable.
Requirements：
1. Preferably Male;
2. 30-45 years old;
3. Licensed Mechanical Engineer;
4. At least 3 years working experience in Diamond Tool production or a minimum 5 years experience in a related industry;
5. High technical understanding of Metal production;
