In order to register you need to prepare the following documents:
- Original Passport and a copyLiving Permit and a copy
- Original lease contract and a copy
- Work certification with company stamp (this must be provided by your company and it must clearly state your living Address)
- Management Certificate (the management must give you a certificate that showed they agreed the settlement of SAT TV and which states where you live Block and House number and where the SAT TV dish is installed)
- 2 Passport Photos (1 Inch)
Once you have all those documents, you must go to Suzhou Gong Yuan Road No.38 (Office hour Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm).
If you have problems any problems call 0512-6522 1231. If you are there you will need to fill out a registration form.
The government will give you a approved SAT TV certificate.
The government bureau will than come to your home remove you illegal Satellite System (when existing) and provide you a list with government approved SAT TV providers. Some contact numbers for approved SAT TV providers are 13073310077, 13092663215 and 13338699630.
The cost of this complete transaction is around 3000-5000 RMB.
Please be advised that a Chinese citizen can not register it for you, as Chinese people are not allowed to have SAT TV’s.
